IMPORTANT NEWS:

By the middle of the summer, Matt and I will be in Birmingham, AL living and working.

I did not get the promotion I had applied for, I did not think I would but it was worth a shot.
So, we decided to go for it and move. Of course, my momma and daddy are all on board and throwing money at us to move us up here. LOL.

So, we will be closer to our friends in Montgomery and available for our friends in B'ham.

We do not like it down here, we went to the beach Sunday for this first time since last May. It was beautiful but 9x out of 10, it sucks!

I LOVE.....

Oct. 19th, 2006 | 03:34 pm

I went to Ross at lunch with Yida. I bought a pair of pewter peek a boo Steve Madden shoes, a thick red belt(to go with my denim shirt dress) and a black sparkly, white layered look shirt. All this for $32.

OMG! I can not believe I bought a pair of Steve Madden shoes for $15. I mean seriously? This man is my foot idol.

Things

Oct. 19th, 2006 | 10:23 am

I'm back from Monkeytown. I had an exhausting trip to be honest.
I came home yesterday slept from 615-815 and then from 1130-930 this AM. It was nice.

I spent tons of time with my aunt which meant more to me than anything else I did. Including the dress.
I was able to spend time with the people I care about most. Gina Marie, Heather and Ame'.

I am so happy to see Ame' as happy as she is now. I'm so thankful for that.

I have my dress(Heather's former dress) and all that goes with it. I also have their dresses completely picked out. Although the shoes we will dye instead of white. The more I think about it, they need to be dyed or at least silver. Not white.

Everyone has until January 15th,2007 to get their dresses.

I also have the location, Heritage Church. The reception will be in the garden of Leslie Bailey. Her back yard is absolutely beautiful. Amazing.
I have the invites set as well.

Everything is falling into place. YAY!

Michael Bolton

Oct. 4th, 2006 | 04:17 pm

I am sitting at work, listening to Michael Bolton's When a Man Loves a Woman.

I am seriously gay. I am gayer than gay. Do you know how your gay, because you know me.

I signed up for Yahoo Music Launchcast Plus or something or the other... it rocks.

~Hola~

Apr. 25th, 2006 | 12:20 pm

Hello there!

I am feeling a lot better this morning. Thank God! My teeth still hurt pretty badly. However, the pain is not near as bad or throbbing as it was yesterday.
I left after a half day yesterday and went home.
Matt was sweet and funny last night! My baby!

His dad is flying us up to Norfolk,VA in September for a week to visit and see him. That is cool. I hope to maybe see Leia and Mark at that time. Can't remember if they live close by or not.

My mom is making an appt soon with David's Bridal in Montgomery regarding the dresses so the girls can be fitted and all that jazz. We also decided that we are not going to have a shower. It would be too much trouble. So, we are asking people just to bring any presents to the church with them. We will have tables set up there.

Matt's looking forward to our honeymoon to Charleston. We will more than likely be looking to move there in around 2 years. Get our credit straight and then go from there. We both agreed we have to look at school systems too.

Ok, back to work. I am going to eat some noodle soup. When I can eat real food, I am having a double whopper with cheese. Yummy!

I booked our honeymoon in Charleston, SC. 3 nights, 4 days. Should be fun!

Things are going good down here.

We have new furniture, yay!
My family will be down here in 15 days. YAY! Boo for having to have my teeth removed.

EEEK.

Mar. 24th, 2006 | 04:15 pm

That is the sound a mouse makes.

We finally bought new bedding for our room. It is pretty blues, and red. We will more than likely do a lighthouse theme in there. The guest bedroom now has bedding without cat hair all over it. We bought some photo frames we are going to put up in there. One for each of our families in B&W.

That is about all that is going on.
I am working all the OT I can to pay for my teeth to be pulled. Bleh. It's only 1 hr extra each day plus 4 hours on Saturday to help the not so new guy know how to do his job.

Tis all.

Peace. Love and Chicken Wings.

Wow!

Mar. 20th, 2006 | 01:31 pm

I woke up this morning actually excited about going to work.
I have been locked in the house for the past 3 days. I think I have ventured out maybe for a total of a hour. WOW!

I'm picking up extra shifts so that I can have some money to pay for my teeth. After the infection is clear for Matt, we will have his tooth extracted. Good thing for him is he does not mind needles at all. Me on the other hand, I would rather give birth to a litter of warthogs than go through teeth surgery.

I must say I look darn good this morning.

Ramblings of a Mad Woman

Mar. 19th, 2006 | 05:19 pm

Friday our plans were cancelled for Matt's favorite day of the year. One of his teeth decided to become infected. So, off to the ER we went. The meds they gave him made him sick as shit to his stomach.

This morning he woke with a 100.5 fever that kept rising. Back to the ER we went. They switched up his meds and gave him something for the nausea. On top of all this, his fever keeps rearing it's ugly head.

I have played nurse maid for the last 3 days. I do not mind too much. I know he would do it all for me and will do it for me in a month.

In a month my mom, stepbrother(Jason) and Dwight(stepdad) are coming down. For the girls from the Keep It Real shite, he was the brother with me. His birthday is the day I get my teeth taken out. So, he is coming down to visit. Plus he loves Matt and they get along fantasticly. I am cooking lasagna rolls while they are here. Well, prepare them and have my mom put them in the oven. With four teeth being pulled, I doubt I will be doing anything.

My WW is going really awesomely. I am gathering more will power and have done well this past week. I tend to keep it up. Matt loves me for who I am, as I love myself the way I am. I just want to be healthier ya know. When I go back for my BC checkup, I am going to talk to the gyn about stop smoking. Get even healthier.

Matt looked at me last night and out of no where said, I want kids. That made me smile. I do want children. I used to hate kids. Couldn't stand them or want them. Now, it has all changed. I think part of it has to do with watching Simon grow up in the years we have been together and with also wanting to create life with the man I am madly in love with.

He spoke with his nanny yesterday. It makes me smile to see him connecting with his family. All of them. It's nice. I don't know what I would do if I did not have my family. They have always been my rock. Kept me in check when I needed it most.

Okay, enough of my rambling.

Love. Peace and Chicken Wings.
